The Rainbow is jazzed to host March’s MAKE and we are hitting the mini wheel and MAKING something adorable: MINI POTTERY guided by Artist Gracie Rhoads.
In this 2-hour class, you will dive into the magic of the minis and learn how to make something fit for a royal mouse, a small doll, for you when you’re feeling dainty. Gracie will show you how to center the clay on the mini wheel… and yes you get your own mini wheel - and open it up to form tiny pots, bowls, or plates. No previous wheel experience necessary!
EEEEEEEk. This is the sound we shall make at their cuteness.
As always, this class includes snacks, drinks, rad humans and everything you need: clay, under glazing and firing of the clay. The clay cannot be taken home at the time of the class because it must be kiln fired. You will get an email when your creations are ready for pick up. The turn around is 1-2 weeks for drying, glazing, and firing.
Once again, snacks, drinks and supplies are included in the cost of your ticket. You know how we do.
Cost: $75 per person.

MAKE is a monthly series hosted by Mara Altman and Nicole Zappala where we gather to connect and create over accessible, funky crafts. Experiences are guided by our hosts or in some cases, we invite artists and makers in to guide us. Check out some of the MAKEs we’ve done on Instagram.
